The rumours are true: The Viper Pit Tattoo Studio is on the move. Don’t panic, we’re not leaving Irlam – we’re levelling up just down the road. From October 1st 2025, you’ll find us in our brand-new home: bigger, sharper, and built to handle more tattoos, more piercings, and more chaos (the good kind).
Why the move?
Simple: we’ve outgrown our old spot. Between the buzzing machines, endless piercings, and clients queueing up like it’s Black Friday, we needed more space. The new studio gives us:
A dedicated piercing room (no more squeezing in between tattoo stations) More tattoo chairs, so you don’t have to wait six months for that sleeve A fresh modern grey-and-green look that’s sleek, bold, and very Viper Pit Upgrades across the board for comfort, privacy, and hygiene
What’s staying the same?
The same crew you know and love: Chris, Rachel, Chelsea, and the rest of the troublemakers. The same standard of tattoos and piercings that’s earned us nearly 300 five-star reviews. The same sarcastic Manc humour that you either love or secretly wish came with subtitles.
What’s new?
A loyalty scheme for piercings (collect five, sixth one’s free – you’ll be jingling like a keychain in no time). A bigger retail section for jewellery, aftercare, and gift vouchers (perfect for when you “forget” a birthday). More behind-the-scenes chaos – think Chris falling off ladders, but now with more space for Rachel to laugh at him.

Because if you’re looking for tattoos or piercings in Irlam, Salford, Warrington, or near the Trafford Centre, you now have a purpose-built, bigger, better Viper Pit waiting for you. Whether you’re after a fine line tattoo, a bold piece, or a fresh piercing, the new shop has room to make it happen.
