Leave it alone.
Clean hands before you go anywhere near it. A little tenderness or redness at the beginning can be normal.
CLEAN TWICE A DAY
Less is more.
Use the aftercare product recommended by your piercer. Clean gently around the front and back, then leave it to dry naturally.
DON’T
Avoid the usual troublemakers.
- Don’t twist, pick or take out the jewellery early.
- Don’t use alcohol, peroxide, tea tree or harsh products.
- Don’t sleep directly on a fresh piercing if you can help it.
